Engine Swap
What are the differences issues with replacing the engine in my 1998 GMC 305 Vortex MPFI with this one http://phoenix.craigslist.org/pts/712536014.html ? Will it accept all of the sensors wiring etc. Thanks for your help AJ

There shouldn't be any problems, but if it is an EFI rather than an MPFI there will be an issue and you'll need a wiring kit. My advice is to send the guy an email and ask if it is and EFI or MPFI and then take it from there.

I heard that the intake manifold will not bolt up is this true?
Mine is a 305 Vortec MPFI The fuel spider is under a black cover, for the longest time I thought it had 2 injectors but on closer inspection it has an injector at each intake valve.
