Default Extended Crank

I have a 2013 Chevy 3500 HD 6.6L that has an extended crank before it starts. Fuel pressure is 4656 at idle. I heard this year and model could have an internal crack in the fuel housing is this correct??

It is true that some Chevy models, including the 2013 3500 HD, have had issues with cracked fuel housings or fuel pressure regulator problems. A fuel pressure reading of 4656 PSI at idle sounds excessively high, which could indicate a problem with the fuel pump or pressure regulator.
