Cool fuse center kills chevy...news at 11:00

ok i searched threads...this does not seem to be common...there's a short ,somewhere in the fuse center that kills the truck('96 chevy 2500,5.0,cheyenne)if it gets tapped or bumped,or if it just feels like it ,it kills the truck, same thing brings it back,a tap or a bump,i can push on it (towards the driver compartment)doesn't move, but the truck will start,i got a headlight on now...and i see nothing worn or bare, all fuses metered good....whatchya think?lift the fuse center and look further?...Re-do all the connections going into the center?....thx for any info....
