Default Help me fix my van please, '97 305v8

97 Chevrolet van, 305 v8, auto, a/c

I have to replace the lower intake manifold gasket in my van. It's a big job for my limited mechanical skills, but I got it all took apart without losing/breaking anything.

I need some advice on how to go about putting it back together.

1. Any advice on cleaning the lower intake manifold? There's a lot of gunk on the inside. Can I sandblast it? Then soak it in parts cleaner?

2. I had to remove the fuel injector assembly. I'll probably replace the fuel pressure regulator. Is there a way to clean the injectors, replace the o rings and test the unit with it out of the vehicle?

Take some carb cleaner to clean it. Make sure it is dry before reinstalling it
