check for fuel pressure leakdown...the most common cause for a hard start after a hot soak.

put a fuel pressure guage on the fuel rail. cycle the key to on to prime the fuel system. repeat 3x.
record the fuel pressure. leave the guage and monitor the pressure. if its holding pressure for 10min its ok.

Just want to reach out to you and say thanks for the help on my suburban, I put the starter in good, turned out to be the ignition switch and previous owner faulty wiring under the dash!
