Default low beam issue

I have a 2012 Silverado, and the drivers side low beam doesn't work. I bought a package of 2 bulbs, installed both, and still neither work. I tested the bulbs (and the original one) and they all work fine.
I swapped out the fuse with the passenger side light, still doesn't work. I swapped out the relay, still doesn't work.
I put a meter on the light bulb socket, and when I turn the lights on I get 12vdc, but when I put the light bulb in, it doesn't work. The ground connection is good. I'm at a loss........ any ideas?

sounds like a bad connector...splice in a new connector or remove the connector and hard wire the light.

You might try contact cleaner, even though you are reading voltage, bulb contact to socket might just need cleaned.

well I rechecked the continuity again, and I didn't have a good ground. I don't know where the light bulb socket ground terminates so I just spliced another wire to the ground line and terminated that to the chassis and now it works😀
