Default need help finding out motor specs on 14093638

I work with a guy that is willing to sell me this motor, I did some searching and came up with a late 80's early 90's 350, but that's about it. One site said it came out of a camaro, he says it was out of a saburben with 140,000 on it. Is it worth 200 bucks? I would be putting it in my 88 4x4.

Yes,if your looking for something that will be dependable, and cheap,I'd definitely buy it and put it in.from what I've learned on that particular motor you have isn't something you can build and make a 383 or bore over00.30.i have just got one myself and was thinking putting it in a s10 or something small that I can cam out and drive daily if needed.but as far as building to put in a mustang I was going put Chevrolet motor in I've decided not to do.but for you buying for$200 I'd consider it.hope my rambling is helpful
