Default Needing to find OEM part numbers

I did custom work on some brand new (at the time) Suburbans, '08 & '09's..and a few other Chevrolet vehicles. A lot of the parts, mostly interior, were not re-used. Now I have tons of new OEM parts.

I was wondering if there is anywhere online to search through a catalog of parts with the part numbers. I know there are the sites you can search BY part number, but I'm looking for something where you search the part..it will show you the part number.

It takes AGES for dealership part department people to look up the parts and get a price and part number. Literally took 8 mins for the last guy to find a dome light and seat belts, it was ridiculous. Time before that it was about a 7 minute call for 2 parts.

Some parts actually have the part number on them, so it makes it easier..but the parts that don't, I need to find a quick and easier way to get the part numbers for them.
