No 12volt power any where

Default No 12volt power any where

Hi have a 1990 chevy g30 van mini bus and i went to start it no power like the battery was dead but it check good so i pulled all fuses and cleaned them did not help i pulled the plug with all the wires going through the fire wall cleaned it did no good checked all wiring all looks good but i found the negative wire where it connect to the battery is getting very warm negative side now can anyone help with this i have worked on this three days running wires and checking things

Increase the size of the negative cable, and or add another ground is my suggestion. Also make sure the cable is tight both ends of the ground. Getting hot is excessive current, might need to look into larger cable, or replacing it. Could be corrosion in the cable itself.
