Default Overheated 350

My temp gauge on my 75 chevy was not working so I didn't figure out my water pump was not working. I drove about 20 miles and the truck shut down. After it cooled off it did crank back up, but now there is a bad knocking coming from the block. It probably did some damage, any suggestions?

Could be a Main or Rod Bearing, Tappet or piston slap. You need a pro ear on it to decide.
