Default Parking brake light and cd player shut off problem

1990 K1500
5.7L V8
4wd

Hey all.
I recently just had my engine replaced on my 1990 Chevy and now when I am driving the parking brake light comes on and off which then triggers my cd player to turn off. There is also hesitation in my acceleration when the light comes on. The brake fluid level is right but the fluid is dirty. I went to flush the fluid but my bleeders are frozen. Could contaminated fluid be the culprit ??? The parking brake was just replaced so I cancelled that out as a possible issue. The alternator was tested also and is fine. I am now thinking there’s a short somewhere. I am not sure how to figure this out though. Is there a fuse directly linked to the parking brake light ? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

buy an obd1 scanner and see if there is a code… is this a “brake” light as in the parking brake has been set or the vehicle has a braking system fault?
