??? Flashing Parkimg Brake Light ???
I have a 1988 Silverado with a Parking Brake Light that flashes consistantly when parking brake is released... Ten times and then pauses onthe tenth flash...Manuel tells me nothing about this...Could it be a warning of some problem???
Look at the parking brake switch and see what it looks like. It may be old and bouncing around makes it contact. I don't think your parking brake light will set a code, or is for any kind of warning.
This may be an error code for an early anti-lock brake system. Check the brake fluid level in the master cylinder. Go by a brake shop and ask them about T-codes.
Your vehicle should have anRWAL (rear wheel anti-lock) module. Locate it and unplug it and see if the flashing stops. Unplugging it and then plugging it back in may clear the code.

I have to agree with RonH.
There's likely a problem with the RWAL system. Check to see if the module is located in the engine compartment below the master cylinder.
First thing is check to see if the brake lights are working since the brake light switch is part of the RWAL system.
Check these preliminary things :
1 - make sure the brakes , calipers and wheel cylinders are in good condition
2 - check the electrical connection at the control module
3 - check the fuses
4 - follow the wiring harness to the speed sensor and brake light switch to make sure all connections are secure and the wiring isn't damaged
If all else fails you might have to take in somewhere.
