Default Please Help Me!

I spliced in a 4 prong wiring harness for a trailer...

Before Splicing:
all lights worked

After Slipicing:
blew a fuse. all lights in rear of truck not working. brakes, turn signals, parking lights, not working...however, they worked, shut off, worked shut off, worked for 5 mins, then shut off for good

After Replacing Fuse:
brake and turn signals work
no license plate and running lights

Help please!!

I did. If I undo the ground wire the brake lights and turn signals dont work. But when I reconnect the ground wire, they work, but the parking lights in the rear still dont work...

i cant unhook the 4 way because i spliced them in using those clips that you clamp down. in order for me to take it out, i have to cut out all the wires

remember...
they worked, shut off, worked shut off, worked for 5 mins, then shut off for good

if its the clips that u place the wire in then fold cover over and squeeze to lock then all u have to do is unlock cover pull out the two metal things and it will come apart bot they are hard to reuse i would recommend soldering splices tape with electrical tape then coating good with silicone form a gasket or liquid tape that way u get a waterproof seal and won't have problems with corrosion on down the road but use rosin core solder
