possesed brake warning light 90 silverado
-Make- chevy
-Model and Year Model- 1990 sioverado
-Drivetrain Layout (2WD, 4WD) 2wd
-Engine Size- 350
-Body Style (Step-side, 4-door, coupe, stuff like that)- flat side ext cab
-Any other information that may be vital.- 300,000 miles plus.
ok brake light (warning light on the dash is on) it flashes, 9 quick and one long flash... i have never seen that before neither has anyone else we know of...brakes work fine, fluid is fine, as far as i know both brake lights on the back work too...any ideas?<!-- / message --><!-- BEGIN TEMPLATE: ad_showthread_firstpost_sig --><!-- END TEMPLATE: ad_showthread_firstpost_sig --><!-- sig -->

off the top of my head sounds like you could have a loose connection to a sensor on the wheel.

And just in time for Halloween.
If you disconnect the battery for about 15 minutes, it will clear all codes. Maybe you have an old or error code coming up. Once it clears the system, if it shows again, try cleaning all the plug connectors for the brake sensors.
It could be just a bad ground wire somewhere on the brake system. Or perhaps the firewall/engine (Myyyyyy favorite!) ground strap is getting too corroded. If it is, more systems will start getting wonky in the next few weeks.

thanks guys ill let him know... id be willing to bet its a loose plug or else a bad booster. the truck is immaculate for being a 90 with so many miles so im hoping for my buddies sake its minor.
