I have a 2008 Tahoe LTZ 8 cyl. I lose all sound from my radio, and the blinker sound goes out with it sporadically. Then suddenly comes back on minutes or days later, it may stay on for week, maybe minutes but will certainly fail again. Dealer had me replace the amp. I did so have the same problem. Now they are telling me to replace the entire DVD Nav Radio unit (part 25846421) to the tune of $1,062.00, plus labor. Can anyone shed light on this as a known problem and is this the true fix?

 

could it be any compatibility issue or the product is really defective? what did the dealer tell? would there be any rebates?

 

I don't thing compatability has anything to do with this, becuase nothing changed. This is all still factory parts.
