Radio won't work
This is my first post in the Chevy Forum so hopefully this is an appropriate place for this problem! I pulled the engine, transmission, wiring harness, PCM, radio and other oddds and ends from a 2000 Camaro and transplanted them into my 50 Chevy 3100. I bypassed the security system including the entire body module. The engine and all that works fine, but for some reason the radio will not work. It does't come up as locked, it will only show the time. Any help would be appreciated.
Yep, tried the power button, that didn't help, but I did solve the problem. When I cut the wires to take the body module out, one of them powered the hot side of the fuse for the radio. I had to put a jumper in from the accessory main wire to make the ignition wire hot to the radio. The only power it was getting was "hot all time", which runs the clock. Thanks for the sugestion.
