Default Rebuilt TH350 will not engage!!! Help me out please!

Ok so I recently had my trans rebuilt. I got it all put back together. I proved the torque converter before installing "converter was all the way back and pump is working". I filled the trans with fluid and let idle until warm and checked over and over until fluid level was full. I let truck run for about 15 more minutes after full and checked again. Everything was good. I shifted through all the gears and nothing. Rpm's don't change, it's like the trans is not engaging at all. I pulled cooler line from radiator to make sure pump was circulating and it is pumping great. I'm stumped. Please any help would be awesome. Thanks in advance guys.

Yes I had my father in law sit in the truck and I re adjusted the linkage while he was in the truck so we could make sure everything lined up.

internally, is the linkage hooked up? Drop the pan see if it is shifting, you could have missed something. This is my opinion on what I would do next.

I talked to the guy that rebuilt it and we're gonna drop it back out and take back to him. He's been rebuilding gm transmissions for around 20 years and he is stumped as to what it could be also. He's going to go back through it and hook it up to his test engine and make sure everything is good before I reinstall it on the truck. I will post an update to let everyone know what the issue was. I have seen alot of questions concerning the same issue but no one seems to post the fix. So hopefully by next week I will have an answer for you. Thanks for the info and suggestions.

Default Update

Ok sorry for taking so long for the update.
so this is what happened. I dropped it off and he hooked it up to his test engine. Would not engage there either. He put the new torque converter on another th350 he had recently built and it would also not engage. The outcome was that the parts store i purchased the torque converter from order the wrong one. They say that in there system It doesn't show whether they are lock up or non lock up so they basically just picked one and ordered it. If they would have checked the year rang they could have done a better job of elimination. So needless to say new converter ordered and installed and everything is working great.
