Default Recovery Tank needed

I want to add a recovery (not overflow) tank to my 1949 Chevy 3100 truck. It the engine was changed to a Chevy small block 350 ci. It has no shroud or electric fan so it's running a little hot in traffic. ... can you tell me what cap to put on the radiator and what recovery tank to buy. I see many on Ebay, at Summit, etc. Need help, I'm new at this and new to this forum . I'd appreciate your advice.

I'd suggest a shroud, recovery tank you can get at auto parts store. Is the radiator aftermarket? You might look into a shrouded electric fan set up with a recovery tank.

+1 for a shroud...without it the fan will not be effective
