Default Service Airbag light issue, need help please.

Hey guys. Im having an issue and would appreciate some guidance. Maybe someone here as had the same problem.

A few months ago my wife noticed that when she was riding in the passenger seat, every now and then the "passenger airbag" light would be off. I disregarded the issue as it was only occasional. But recently my "Service Airbag" light came on and hasn't went away. I took it to a local shop and the code that came back was B0020. I did some research and it could be a number of things, but I'm thinking it would probably be traced back to that same issue I was having with the passenger seat air bag. So maybe its the passanger precense sensor? I dunno....was just wondering if anyone would have any thoughts or opinions on where to look or what to do. Dont want to take it to the dealer and pay my life savings if I can fix it myself. I checked the actual monitor system for the airbag looks clean, connection is good, no corrosion that I can see (I didn't unscrew it from the floor though). Oh and its an 08 Silverado 4X4 Crew Cab. Any tips will be appreciated.

I had a 2011 with same problem, no code either. Dealer found faulty passenger side belt tensioner, guess it has a sensor too. Hope that helps.
