Default "SiriusXM subscription has expired" message every time car starts

Hi everyone! Wondering if anyone else has had this issue:

I have a 2020 Malibu, and I let my trial subscription from the dealership expire and I don't plan on renewing. Now, every time I start the car, a pop-up message on the Infotainment display says "SiriusXM subscription has expired."

Does this message disappear after some time and do you remember how long? I can't find a setting to dismiss it permanently...
It would be irritating if that message popped up indefinitely every time I started the car.

SiriusXM is pointing to Chevy for troubleshooting, and Chevy says it's SiriusXM's problem.

Thanks!
