Starting, Auxillary Power Outlet, +
Couple of things. First. I was ready to go somewhere, and I started the car and it idled low and then when I hit the gas, it shut off and now won't come back on. What can be the problem? I've been told could be the spark plugs.
Second, I was using a tire compressor to fill my tired and I left it going too long. I think it burned out my auxillary power outlet. Nothing works. Changed to fuse, but to no avail. What can I do to fix it?

FYI, more info about the vehicle would be helpful. Motor size, model, year, etc.
Has the computer thrown any codes? Those help also.
If both of the above problems happened at the same time, then you have an electrical issue that is likely the source of both. Clean up the battery terminals (even if it cranks) as faulty connections there cause numerous problems for electrical (computer controlled) equipment.
If it cranks, check for spark. I think it likely you'll find none. There should be a code stored in the computer to tell you where the problem is. It may be that a fuse in your Power Distribution Center is blown, or a bad wiring connection at the PDC or the PCM (computer) is to blame.
Those are all free to check and can resolve issues. The best though, is the codes.

No codes to report. my outlet stopped working after the air compressor, I'll check everything you said and see it I get to the problem. I fixed my car starting problem. Used dry gas and regular gas mix and it started after 3 tries. Issue of water in mthe line i guess. My uncle said I could have got some bad gas too, but another person told me that chevys are prone to condesation, especially in the winter time and to at least twice a month use dry gas.

Yes you probably burned up your outlet. I work on fleet vehiclesthat constantly run inverters & we changeGM outlets like crazy.
Outlets are around 7 bucks.
