Default Stumped. .

Had to replace the BCM in my 09 LTZ (w/ 3.6L), with an interchangeable reman aftermarket Cardone BCM bc no Genuine GM part was āvailable.after being programmed, BCM was unable to communicate with the anti theft module, so vehicle would not start.
then I discovered that the OEM part has 207 terminals where as the aftermarket unit has a quantity of 185 terminals. Could this have anything to do with the aftermarket unit failing to communicate with the antitheft module?

Sorry- my question is that something that could be due to the different quantity of terminals on the bcm units, OEM & aftermarket.

what does that have to do with anything? It's a BCM for a particular vehicle is it not?
