Question Tahoe help

Hello im new to the forum and I'm also new to owning a Chevy, I own a 1995 Tahoe 4X4 I have a few questions, First when I look up the Vin it shows that I have a Tahoe MVP I was wondering if anyone knew what the MVP stands for, Secondly I'm looking into buying a motor and rebuilding it I have a offer for a 89 350 out of a suburban, I was wondering if this motor would fit into my tahoe and Mount up, Any help would be greatly appreciated

Are you sure that it isn't MPV, multi purpose vehicle?
And yes, the motor would drop in.
