My 2002 Malibu 3.1 liter has the 4T40E transmission. I really like the car and plan to keep it.It suffers from "chuggle" and chatters when shifting from first to second (under heavy acceleration) and is getting old (in car years). My question is, can I replace this with an earlier (and rebuilt)4T65E from say a late 90's Lumina? Or do I needa newermodel (and which one?) for the computer harness and sensor to interface?
