Default truck quits after it warms up HELP?

hi, I have a 1990 Chevy 150 2wd With a 4.3 V-6 and recently the push rods got bent. I replaced them along with new rocker arms from AutoZone. well now it will run fine when the engine is cold but once it gets warm (210 degrees) it shuts off and wont restart for a few hours. I replaced the ecm, temp sensor, ignition module, computer, just about every sensor there is on the motor, I had a mechanic look at it and he said that if I replaced the motor that it should work. because the motor was wan out with the new pushrods and rocker arms when it warmed up it lost compression/ combustion. I was wondering if this makes since to any one or is there something else to check first before changing the engine.

Thanks

I don't think that replacing the engine is the answer...

IF you still have one of the old Pushrods, you should measure it and compare that length with the ones you bought.
(assuming you have a straight one to compare it to)

I suspect you'll find that the new ones are longer.

BTW:
210° is a little hot, you should be operating at 185° normally.

What I was asking is for you to measure the length of the old and new Pushrods. I suspect that the new ones, are slightly longer than the old, thusly when getting hot, lengthen and are holding the valves open slightly.

Compare the length of the two, and if the new ones are too long, exchange them for the proper length rods.

Sounds like you may have them adjusted too tight.

Back them off a couple of thousands of an inch.

That's what I thought but I checked them again and there correct as far as I can tell. But dose anyone think that the motor could just be ragged out in the bottom end? It's done a lot of pulling vehicles on trailers and hauled a lot of wood and shingles.
