My betty, also known as superman (SM) because its....indestructible.... was wrecked a few weeks back by a hit and run. we hit a ditch, followed the tree lines, almost like a roller coaster, we had to be going ever bit of 25 as we were in the wet grass, as tree branches crashed up against SM. luckily the wet grass slowed us down to about 10-15 and we came to a stop as part of the passenger wheel assembly, god only knows which part, but i thank that one part every day, hit a steel and concrete culvert right before a hill that lead to a flooded creek. air bags deployed, dashboard demolished, massive road rash on our faces.

most the damage actually ALL of the damage but the slight paint trade from the hit and run driver is on the passengers side.

left quarter front panel, door, mirror, head light, and who knows what is wrong with the wheel, the under carriage etc.

insurance didn't pay out because it was a hit and run.....even tho the police report, say hit and run, no help from bs all state.

i told my self once i got my car towed to mu house that if it starts and can make it out o my dads about 20 miles into the country that i would redo her,

she started up on the first turn immediately wen into reverse with out fuss and drove to my dads with a grind in the passenger wheel, air bags flying in the wind and with my wife following n another car.

Ill be damn.... indestructible @ this point. deserves a second life for sure.

with parts from a junk yard I est. $500-800 for all new parts inside and out.

not including the transmission a d engine over haul the new paint job new glass electric.....

so the question, anyone got some serious diagrams- how tos- etc for this massive project.
