I have a stake body 2000 c3500 that has the 5.7 in it. The truck has 214,000 on the odometer and I am debating overhauling the engine. Now comes the tricky part, I have obtained a crashed 1994 caprice wagon with the LT1 engine. Would I be able to swap engines and computers?

 

Need more info. What trans do each of them have? What makes you think a motor that is that old will be any better than the one you have?
