My windows are hard to roll up on my 04 Silverado. I wiped off the tracks and sprayed them and the pulleys with silicone. Still binding on both sides. Any suggestions?

 

It has been my experience that you have to change the window regulators.

 

Someone told me that their 2004 windows were a bit hard from the day they bought it new. I took out the whole ***'y, cleaned and sprayed silicone on the tracks and pulleys. I found really no dirt inside and nothing was worn. It did become easier if I took off the rubber gasket seal between door and window. This must be normal for this truck. Not complaining, maybe should just start working out huh?
Anyway, installed electric windows no problem.
