Default Sirius XM Radio not working

I had the same problem. Had a dead battery. After replacing the battery no XM was showing on my radio. When I would push the band button only FM and AM would show.

Called dealer told me to pull both positive and negative battery cables off of battery. Then touch them together and hook back up.

That solved the problem. My XM band is now showing again. Hoooray!!!

I’m having a different problem after a dead battery, my XM channels are gone and SiriusXM has tried for two days to load them back. They gave up.
bluetooth works am fm and the xm promotional channels 0,1 and 110 work.
I have no idea what to do, the dealer says they have never seen this problem.
