Default HHR bluetooth

I received an answer from Chevy with a list of the options that were on my '09 HHR and it list the 2LT preferred equipment group which includes the bluetooth for phone. My question is that I am not getting anything from the computer when I press and hold the bluetooth button ( should say ready) is this fused separately from the radio and such and if so what am I looking for? Thanks for any and all help

ppaul2,

Do you know if your phone is compatible with the Bluetooth system in your vehicle?

Thank you,

That's not always, even with 2LT. You don't mention the RPO code UPF on the sticker inside the glove compartment door and thus I suspect you'll find UE0 for "OnStar delete" instead. UPF and UE0 are mutually exclusive since Bluetooth is an addition to the OnStar VCIM hardware. If you don't have OnStar, don't waste your time.

You're quite welcome. It's really too bad, the way they implemented it. Common sense says the Bluetooth functionality belongs to the radio.
