I've had problems with the 2010 HHR before. It went into the dealership when I couldn't turn it off or pull out the key. Then we received several recalls on it and had it fixed about 3 months ago. It has about 28,000 miles on it.

Tonight, the car starts beeping all by itself. We get up and use the fob to make it stop or it stops after going through a cycle. It happens about every hour or two. We finally unlocked it and are waiting to see if we have the problem again in several hours.

We're at a loss to know what to do with it. It is becoming a disappointing car even though we enjoy the Chevy brand overall. Help!

 

If you have a security system. I would check the hood switch as they tend to corrode and cause the security system to think someone is trying to get in under the hood. Very common problem on GM's with the same features.
