Default 03 Impala battery rundown protection relay wont stop clicking

So i have recently come into the possesion of a 2003 impala 3.4l. When the car is running everything is fine but when i shut it off the BRP(Battery Rundown Protection) Relay clicks rapidly and endlessly. Cabin lights also flicker on and off and after about an hour the battery dies.. but if i start the car this all goes away... low on funds, any suggestions?
