A/c problems
If ur freon leaks out in a week thats really a bad leak and no chemical in a can will help that, locate leak by closely lookin at all a/c lines under hood, oil will leak out with freon and appear wet and usually dirt will stick to oil, while rest of lines will look cleaner, this will usually occur at connections or on face of compressor itself. If u continually gas system and dont add oil, compressor will lock up,trashin out ur entire system. If u open up a line to change an o-ring seal do so quickly as freon is heavier than air and generally stay in system in spite of no pressure, however if system is open any length of time,receiver/dryer should b changed also. A/C work can get costly and extensive quickly, u should seek a pro mechanic before any serious problems happen,at least get someone to give u advice that can look at car. In my case, i took apart dash ,after replacin a/c control unit that did not make adif in side to side temps, discovered freon was low in system, after chargin system, temp difference was not as noticeable, probably a design flaw in system. PS dont take apart dash yet nothin wrong with mine as control doors were workin fine. Fix leak and get it vacuumed and properly charged, should do the trick. Good luck Jfixit
