put the key in the on position (without starting the car), press the gas peddal down 3 times fast in 5 seconds (or 5 times fast but i think the first way is right) than turn on the car, or put the key back to off and than turn on the car

Can anyone confirm if this actually works or not? I'm having the same problem. Took my factory radio out and put a Pioneer in and that Low Tire Pressure notification in the message center is driving me nuts!

Since that wont refuses to go away, even though I got an oil change yesterday, the message center refuses to get rid of the Change Engine Oil light as well. I called Chevy about it and left a voicemail a few hours ago, so im waiting to hear back from them. Gonna go to my car during my lunch break and try out this little trick tho. Fingers crossed...

to clear the change engine oil light, turn the key to the on posistion. press the pedal all the way to the floor three time within 5 seconds. it took me 2-3 times to get it to reset the first time i did it.
to get rid of the low tire pressure message, turn the key to the on posistion. pull the headlight switch till the parking lights come on. push it back in and repeat three times. if you push the pedal or pull the switch too fast it wont work right. it might take a few tries to time it right.

So when should I actually be pushing the pedal? I tried the Change Engine Oil trick and it worked! But i'm a little confused on ur explaination for the Tire Pressure Light.

Is the parking light switch the only thing im pushing back in 3 times (is this the actual switch beside my steering wheel)?
Am I supposed to push the pedal at all?

You've been a big help to me, since I joined this forum yesterday. If you wouldnt mind explaining this in a little more detail I'd greatly appreciate it. I know a lot of things...cars just happen to not be one of them. lol.

no problem at all. yes the switch you pull out for the headlights is the only thing you need to do for the tire pressure monitor. just pull it out one click(for the parking lights) push it back in and repeat that three times. its just like resetting the change enginge oil light, but you're using the headlight switch instead of the pedal.
