Default 2003 LS Creaking in front

Hello All, I own a 2003 Impala LS with 81,041 miles. I've noticed that when starting at a stand still (zero MPH) and accelerate, there is a creaking feeling in the front end that I can feel through the steering wheel. The steering wheel does not have any play in it, but everytime that I speed up or brake, you can feel a creaking sensation and you can also hear it.

Does anyone have any idea what that is all about?

Thanks,
PolyP

Intermediate steering shaft. I've had mine replaced twice. Now I have it lubed every other oil change. Seems to do the trick for mine.

Mine is doing the same thing and it is getting really annoying now. So I did some searching and here is a good page to look at it you have a mechanic that can do it for you.
