There is no light that comes on when opening the trunk of my car. Exactly where is this fixture located in the trunk?

 

Have you checked into getting the vehicle looked at by your dealer? The repair should be a simple procedure and should be covered under your 3 year 36,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty as well. I hope this helps you.
