2014 impala trunk leaks?
Update, Spare tire well filled with water again 19 apr 2014 as of 10 am. The tail light seals did not fix the problem. Called GM to complain they have acknowledged the problem exists and are escalating me to another level of support. Not sure what they will do, but I'll update here.

What the 1st digit of your vin? 1=usa, 2=canada build.
I hope they do a full leak test when everything is tore out.
Is this a LTZ or LT or LS?
18 Apr 2014 10 am Dropped my car at the dealer this morning, they kept the car for 6 hours. I got it back and the trunk carpet was clean. The tech vacuumed the carpet and no one bothered to look in the spare tire well. When I opened the panel the well still had water in it, the bottom of the panel was still moldy, and everything was still wet. They replaced the seals on my taillights, It still seems like there is water getting in. The manager has ordered all of the panels for my trunk because of the mold and is replacing my jack and tool kit as well because my jack is rusted so bad it's unusable, the car is 4 months old. The dealer is trying to be helpful, but this is a factory defect. I took my car in two weeks ago and they didn't want to touch the car, got a recall letter in the mail yesterday and took it in this morning. We'll see how well this works out, it's been raining two days non stop. If I get more water in my trunk tonight then I will know it's all BS.

No leaks on our Impala. Been checking it daily for 6 weeks.
Dealer says rear bumper must be removed to replace gaskets.
I have my reservations about damaging the tri coat paint but if it needs it it needs it.
Only thing is I have read here that even after gaskets replaced still having issue. Bumper not coming off for anything until it is confirmed that it will resolve the issue.
Blood runs GM blue but does not mean I give them a pass.

They have been trying to get mine right for months. The major problem now is the moldy mildew smell in the car and moisture on headlights. They already replaced rear carpets but smell is still present. This is such a mess I filed a complaint with customer service and the BBB. BBB said since they havent had it out of service for more than 20 business days there is nothing they can do. Customer service doesnt care either, theye never return calls or follow up with cuatomers. I even dealt with the legal department after I filed the BBB complaint and they only called for BBB agent calling them. Chevy doesn't care. We just have to deal with overpaying for a ruined brand new vehicle!!!!!

I think on saw on there's about 2.9 hours.. not sure if that was 'billed' or actual total time.. etc
Was in my trunk looking for a way to install an Amp and noticed water in the trunk. Just bought the car a few weeks ago and has 1500 miles on it. We have got a lot of rain lately. Guess I'll take it to the shop Monday.
Anyone hooked an Amp up?
