Default 2015 impala front bumper cover alignment

The two sides of my front bumper cover just below the headlights where they wrap around keep poking out. The drivers side is so bad you can see one of the slots where i think a tab or clip is supposed to hold it in place.
The stupid dealer says it is normal after the cover is removed for it to do that for a while after it is reinstalled ( they removed it to repair a ding in the cover before I bought it). I say BS.
Does anyone know how these are attached and how i can fix it myself?

I'll take a look at my 2014 Impala when I get home. I just checked an online GM Parts source and it appears the 2014 and 2015 use the same bumper cover. 22990036 w/adaptive cruise and 22990032 w/o adaptive cruise.

Yeah I looked at the diagram but I couldnt tell how it is attached. Looked like maybe each corner piece near the headlight is attached with one bolt.

sounds like bs to me. pics would help. phone the dealership, speak to the shop foreman or service manager and tell them the front fascia is not seated correctly.

Default I guess it wasnt BS after All

Well its been two days since the last time I reset the location of the bumper cover and it has stayed in place. Only difference I noticed that this time when I pushed it in I heard a click. So maybe whatever holds it finally clicked into place.

I am used to fixing stuff the dealer either cannot or will not fix. On my Camaro the convertible top was out of alignment and they said there were no adjustments for it, well I adjusted it myself three years ago and it has been perfect ever since.
