Default 2017 Chevy Impala ambient cabin lighting

I have a 2017 Chevy Impala, I see pictures of ambient lighting strips going across dashboard and front and back doors. My 2017 does not have the ambient lighting on the back doors. Has Chevy removed the lighting on the back doors?

The lighting on the back doors is only on the 2014-2016 LTZ and now the 2017 Premier Version. The LS and LT versions do not have the ambient lighting on the rear doors, I don't think they ever did.

It is entirely possible that GM removed them from the 2017 Premier as a cost cutting measure. This would not be the first time GM has removed a feature in the name of cost savings. On the 2000-2005 Impala, Map pockets were removed, seats changed to cheaper design. I also notice that the console and door trim has been reduced to only one style, where as the 2014-2015 had 4 designs available, there is no wood trim at all anymore. I believe the SD Card reader in the console has also been removed as of 2016. I definitely would not be surprised that the rear ambient lighting has been removed. GM likes to do this as a the vehicle life-cycle moves on, the Impala is now in it's fourth model year.

The 2017 Premiers have "ambient lighting," but it doesn't say anything about the rear, so i dunno.
Ambient lighting comes with the Entertainment Package, with the extra Bose speakers & stuff.
(& yeah, they DO change things a lot, i guess)
...my dads 2014 Impala LT2 has it, but only in the front.
