bad gas mileage

i replaced my faulty fuel pressure regulator and now my mileage has dropped in half. could the new regulator be bad ?

the only way to know is to check the fuel pressure and see if its too high. How did you diagnose a bad regulator?

If you have access to a scan tool that can view data stream; you could check the fuel trim.

Check the fuel filter.. I bet its dirty
