Default Clicking noise behind air vent

Hi,
I have a 2006 Impala and a few months ago we would get a clicking noise when adjusting the air conditioning temperature and/or fan. It would last about 30 seconds and then stop. Today we got a new battery installed and now the clicking will happen even when the car is turned off! What the heck is that?? We brought it back to the Goodyear that serviced it and they claim they don't know what is causing it. I just opened the door and it started again without the engine running. It stopped, and when I went back to the car I could hear it clicking again before I even opened the door. Help! Thanks
Susan

Welcome to the forum. It sounds like one of the air/blend door actuators lost its mind. The problem is probably electronic in nature and thus it's best to take it in for service.
