I have a 2006 LT and the remote start will not work and the check engine light keeps comming on. It happen twice in the last month. I wondering if the weather has anything to do with it. I had the valve in the gas tank replaced once already a couple of months ago. Could the valve gone bad once again????

 

if i remember right i read somewhere that if there is a code or the check engine light is on it disables the remote start system to prevent any damage to the engine. so you're going to have to figure out what is triggering the check engine light and go from there...

 

Now the reduce engine speed message is on. I have an appointment to take the car into the dealer to figure this mess out. I can't believe that a car this new could have so many problems! Guess I got a lemon.
