'72 K5 with new GM performance block. Can I tee PCV vacuum and brake assist off of carb?
Hello,
I just dropped a new GM performance block into my '72 K5. What a pain, getting all the new fangled stuff matched up to '72 chassis.
I have one problem now. I need vacuum for the PCV port on the valve cover and another vacuum for the vacuum assisted brakes. The Holley 600CFM carb has a single vacuum port.
Is it possible to tee that vacuum off of the carb and run both the PCV and brake off of the same vacuum port?
Thanks,
Jeff

well, ive done that on my 75 blazer and i haven't had a minutes problem with that. Although I heard you're not supposed to, mine's been like that for about three years now. Worked for me.
