While this model ended its run, it is not uncommon to see them on the road or off, years after production end.

Hey folks. I'm looking at a 1990 K5 with the 5.7l. It has 113K miles on it - would look pretty good with a buffing. Runs good and everything works. Small rust spot on rear quarter. Is $3K a fair price? That seems to be the low end on NADA but they don't get too detailed on a 20 year old vehicle.

That doesn't sound to bad. Just look up under it and under the hood.

don't sound bad at all. but i agree, check everything thoroughly. all fluids, oil, fluid stains. if rig is decent, probably good. as far as rust, typically you find more, so if it's just the one spot, that ain't bad at all.

The motor should go for 100,000 more miles, maybe even more. The trans is something to look at, I usually se them go at around 100,000 miles. If all seems good offer $2,500. and take it home.

Thanks guys. $2,500 is what I'm thinking of offering. I'm checking it out today.
