Default '04 malibu - weird onboard computer issues

I have a 2004 Chevorlet Malibu that has been doing some odd things lately.

Before when using the remote control for your keychain to lock and unlock the doors, the malibu did so without a sound (except the unlocking sound),
now everytime i click the lock or unlock buttons, the horn beeps once.

also the anti theift system on the car is triggered randomly every month. I've monitored very closely if there was a door no properly closed or a window open, yet randomly my anti theift system triggers and i am forced to leave my key in the ignition for 10 mins for it to reset.

are there any forums experts that can shed any light on what i can do to fix these odd issues??

I have the same issue with the horn going off randomly on my 04 maxx. You said"i am forced to leave my key in the ignition for 10 mins for it to reset." What exactly do you do and does it reset the tamper mode on the security system? I tried to lock the car w/ the remote, the power locks and pushing it down manually and the alarm still triggered. I set the DIC to RKE and passive. I see no way to reset the alarm...any help would be appreciated.

well i haven't ran into this problem yet at the dealer but kind of seems like u might have a remote control door lock reciever problem. do u ever experience ur low tire pressure light coming on when ur pressure is fine?

The tires were just rotatedand no other warnings have been dispalyed. I did finally get the remote start to work on one key bob.

So ... if you replace batteries in the original remotes that came with the vehicle ... there is reprogramming involved ???
That's kinda screwy.

Typically any remote has it's functions built in and changing a battery doesn't change or reset those. They have a unique and fixedRF signal that was learned by the vehicle's receiver ... so changing the remote would require learning the new remote RF signalwhich would be different from the original.

no u don't have to reprogram the fobs after a battery replacement.
