I'm currently replacing a timing chain on a 2011 Chevy Malibu with a 2.4 Ecotec Engine. Whenever I line up the chain with the corresponding marks t seems to be off by a few links. I lined up both the cams with the arrows and the color marks but the crankshaft color link is off . The engine is properly timed with the crankshaft at 12 o clock position and the cams at 10 and 2. I cannot stress the chain anymore even when trying to move individual cams. Please help.
