I have been having some odd electrical issues with my malibu lately, all of which seemed to arise after i replaced the ignition switch. I have noticed now, especially driving at night, that when I step on my brake, the headlights will flicker momentarily and then everything is back to normal. This flicker can also be seen through the dome light if a door is open, even using the cigarette lighter will cause the dome light to flicker. Car has never given me any starting problems that would be related to a bad battery. I also noticed this more when listening to the radio as opposed to a cd, but it seems that the engine RPM's are being picked up through the speakers in the car as well. My stereo is completely stock. Sometimes when parked overnight, upon startup the next day the clock totally reset itself on the radio back to 12:00. Could this all be related to a bad alternator or could I have a ground issue somewhere? any help is appreciated
