I recently noticed a squeak noise coming from the brake pedal while braking. When I brought it to the dealer for an oil change, I asked one of the service reps to take a look at it. The service rep asked a mechanic to look at it, and after a little while, returned with a service bulletin. #PIT3779J, states that the fluid in the master cylinder is not a modified DOT3 form and will cause the squeaking... Apparently draining the fluid and refilling with the modified DOT3 fluid will fix the problem.
