The gas cap was changed. I know that it is an EVAP ( small leak) Has anyone had this problem? and how hard of a job is it?

 

You're probably hoping for some trick but there really isn't one. Without a proper scan tool and smoke machine, there's not much to go on. If a visual inspection of EVAP components doesn't turn up anything, you'll have to take it in for service.
