Default Brake Problem

Just replaced front brake pads and rotors on a 2005 malibu classic. No lines were opened. Used C Clamp to retract pistons. Now the brake pedal feels spongy and will press to the floor. Bled system with no change ( no sign of air) Appreciate any help. Thanks

May sound obvious but after bleeding/changing the brakes, with the car running and NOT moving pump the brake pedal several times until the pedal is stiff.

then check fluid level, obviously.

Thanks for the reply, i have tried pumping the brakes but no change. Fluid level is good. Could there be something in the abs system that I am missing? Thanks again
